Today, in library class, we read a book titled "Thank you, Sarah". The book talked about how Sarah saved Thanksgiving. What contributions did she give to this holiday? What do you find remarkable about Sarah Hale? Please write a response to these questions. Please comment on one of your classmates' comments.
This book was interesting because it involved a woman that kept trying to keep the holiday Thanksgiving. And she never stopped writing articles and persuading presidents to keep the holiday. She was remarkable because she didn't give up even though the presidents denied her idea.

I agree with Jalya that the book was interesting. She wouldn't give up her fight to keep Thanksgiving by writing to the presidents. I agree that she was remarkable because she never gave up.

I think the book was interesting because Sarah wanted Thanksgiving to keep the United States together. I agree that she is remarkable because she's responsible for making Thanksgiving a holiday. I agree with both E'Myra and Jaylas' ideas.
